Whats Is The Best Fit for a Boardroom or Meeting Room

Picking the right table and chairs for your boardroom or meeting room can be daunting.

On Todays blog we will be concentrating on the tables and do the chairs in a later blog.

The size of the room and how many people you are trying to sit around the table will make a big difference to what might work best for you. It will also be important to know what the main function of the Boardroom/Meeting Room will be. Will you need power, data or USB. This can be arranged by putting in power boxes built into the desks and on occasions we have multiple.

Chairs can also make a big difference in selecting the right table for how many you can comfortably sit around the table. There are chairs that may look good but be impractical as you may need something comfortable but more slimline in tighter rooms.

It is recommended to allow a minimum of 1.5 metres from desk to walls for enough room to move chairs out whilst seated plus being able to move around the table.

A smaller meeting room, a round table can sometimes be a better solution than longer rectangle tables.

Sizes for our basic rectangle tables can vary from 1800W x 900D right up to 4500W x 1200D.

Our most popular range is our Typhoon Tables, which came in a black and chrome frame or now an all-black frame and standard top colours come in Natural Oak, Natural White, Cherry and beech or we can provide a custom colour table top if required.

In a recent design we used several Typhoon  tables in a U shape with multiple builtin power and data boxes.

We can help with your design by organise a visit to measure up the room and discuss what you need it for and how many people (or if you have a plan or drawing with dimensions to send us) we can come up with the best option to suit you.
