One of the most common questions we get asked is how does the office furniture arrive, can you provide installation and how much does that cost?
To answer these questions nearly all the office furniture comes in flat packs even most of the custom made furniture. This is simply because it is easier and cheaper to transport and to get into most buildings.
Our value range flat packs are generally easy to put together and most can handle this by following the simple instructions in each box. Most of the desks require a second person to help with connecting the table tops. In general you will only need a flat head screwdriver & a Philips head screwdriver (we do tend to use an electronic screwdriver but it is important to make sure they are started in straight by hand first). It is handy to have a cutter to open boxes and pliers if you accidently put a piece of dowel in the wrong spot.
Our executive range and corporate range is a lot more sophisticated and at times has more custom made pieces. You would ideally have some experience in handling more complicated flat packs and in the case of the workstations have some experience in putting these together as they have many additional parts like corner posts, wire poles, brackets and joins so we would recommend our installation service for these.
The cost of installation will vary depending on the type of furniture you order and the quantity. As a general rule it will cost you around 15 to 20% of the products cost. But for a more precise cost you can request a quote with and without installation.
